Terms and conditions for paint and body work service
Terms and conditions for booth hire
1.0 Estimates. Price estimates are provided through information supplied via email contact form provided on this site or via on or off site inspection.
1.1 Emailed information for quotations. Estimates provided through email contact forms may be inaccurate. Additional work may be required if it will effect the quality or longevity of the work being carried out.
1.2 Onsite estimates. Estimates provided by delivery of the vehicle to our location are supplied free of charge. Additional work may be required upon commencement or during dismantling if it will effect the quality or longevity of the work being carried out.
1.3 Off site estimates. Offsite estimations are provided free of charge within a 30 minute driving distance of our base location in Buckingahmshire. Offsite estimates will be charged if the vehicle is located more than 30 minutes away from our base location. A fee of £20 per hour will be charged for offsite estimates. Fees will be deducted upon booking with The Paint Shop Pros.
2.0 Quality assurance. All work is inspected by us and will not be signed off as complete until standards set by us are achieved in accordance with the level of service required.
2.1 Quality inspection. By accepting our terms and conditions you are agreeing that the quality of work upon completion is decided by The Paint Shop Pros. If you do not feel that the quality of work is to a standard that you expected please advise us and we will deal with your query on an individual basis.
2.3 Longevity of work guarantee. As we are working with older vehicles we cannot guarantee longevity of paint or panels especially where the client has carried out body or prep work prior prior to our work.
1. Personal safety responsibilities
1.1 The user accepts full responsibility for their own safety whilst using the equipment, facilities and materials supplied by The Paint Shop Pros. A waiver will be supplied absolving The Paint Shop Pros of all indemnity and responsibility for injury or death occurring from use of the facilities, equipment and materials for use as part of the service provided by The Paint Shop Pros. It is your responsibility to accept the weaver. Service will only be provided upon receipt of the waver declaration.
1.2 Basic safety equipment including overalls and breathing masks are supplied by The Paint Shop Pros and will be offered to you and recommended for use. Ultimately you are responsible for ensuring the use of this supplied equipment during the use of spraying services offered by the Paint Shop Pros.
1.3 You are responsible for your health and suitability before embarking on the activates associated with the supply of equipment, facilities and materials supplied by The Paint Shop Pros. Those suffering with dermatitis or reparatory conditions such as but not exclusively including Asthma are not recommended to spray and do so at their own risk.
1.4 No naked flames or sources of ignition (including tobacco products) are to be used whilst the process of spraying is taking part or within 20meters of the proximity of flammable substances and the spray facility on offer.
1.5 The movement of vehicles entering and existing of the facility. The client is responsible for all vehicle movements and damage that may occur to both the facilities offered and the client’s vehicle during movements on to and off from the facility offered.
1.6 Personal injuries and accidents occurring from the movement of vehicle entering and exciting the facility are the sole responsibility of the client including injuries occurring to the employees and officers of The Paint Shop Pros
2. Quality assurance
2.1 In regards to hire of facilities where the client is using the facilities, equipment or materials supplied by The Paint Shop Pros the user is ultimately responsible for the job quality.
2.2 Where officers, employees or volunteers of The Paint Shop Pros have been employed to complete the process of spraying The Paint Shop Pros accepts responsibility for job Quality and satisfaction and is happy to rework affected areas to achieve the originally specified results. The Paint Shop Pros reserves the rights to final assessment and verdict of job quality.
3 Equipment and facility maintenance and cleaning
3.1 Spray guns and associated ancillaries are to be cleaned after use by the client. If the client has in the opinion of the Paint Shop Pro officers failed to maintain the equipment to the same standard as it was supplied for use then the client will be financially responsible for replacing the equipment within one week from date of booking/use of facility. Exception is made for wear and tear of equipment.
3.2 Facility. The facility will be supplied in a recorded state and will be expected to be returned in the same condition as found. Misuse of the facilities or damage occurring to the facility whilst in the care of the user will result in incurred costs to rectify the facility and possible recuperation action being taken for any incurred loss of earnings resulting from damage.
Miscellaneous
You acknowledge that you have read this Agreement and understand it, and agree to be bound by all its terms and conditions. This document constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and merges all prior and contemporaneous communications. This Agreement shall not be modified except by a written agreement signed by duly authorized representatives of The Paint Shop Pros, provided that no purchase order or similar document issued by you shall modify this Agreement even if signed by The Paint Shop Pros. If any provision of this Agreement is found invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of this Agreement shall remain valid and enforceable according to its terms. The parties intend that the provisions of this Agreement be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Accordingly, the parties agree that if any provisions are deemed not enforceable, they shall be deemed modified to the extent necessary to make them enforceable and in such manner as comes closest to the intentions of the parties to this Agreement as is possible. This Agreement will inure to the benefit of and be binding upon the parties, their successors and assigns, except that you may not assign or transfer this Agreement without The Paint Shop Pros’ prior written consent.
