Pete and Scott from JDM powered hired our booth to paint their Mr2 show car using the new chrome paint they will be supplying. Pete was an automotive sprayer after fitting the bodykit Pete directed Scott in preping the Mr2 prior to renting the booth.

As we all know the prep work is the most important part of a great paint job and Scott done exceptionally well especially as this was the first time he had done it.

The process of painting the car in a chrome finish begins with a good solid black base coat. Once the base coat is cured the mirror chrome paint can then be dusted over and sealed with a waterbased sealant before being lacquered. For a truly custom paint job the lacquer can be tinted with candy colours to provide tinted chrome effects.
